I was very excited to get my new Oppo after purchasing a HDTV, I was
VERY disappointed though after hooking it up. I noticed no difference
at all from my old Samsung. Needless to say I sold it on eBay. I now
have a $49 Philips upconverting DVD player with tons of features, and
it looks better than the Oppo did. Why don't you try what I did. I
read this in another hdtv forum. Set your DVD player to 480p and let
the tv do the upconverting, thats if the tv has a good upconverter.
Mines does apparently because it looks tons better now. What are you
guys thoughts on that? Yeah or nay? Doug
