even if OPPO does offer a Blu-Ray unit,
i suggest you hold off until it's clear
that Blu-Ray will really become the
HD standard

fwiw, i bought both a To****ba A3 and A35
HD-DVD player, and got my feet wet with
this whole HD thing (unlike most, better
sound was my main interest).

i actually saved money by doing that,
as well as got real experience

i've been disappointed by the whole HD
thing, and think there's a very good chance
that something else will come up with HD
(both video and sound) in the next
18-to-30 months, whether it's HD download
via the Internet, or an alternative format
