BD drive+PC+AnyDVD+streaming

by =?iso-8859-1?Q?in_Technicolor=AE?= <cinerama@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 10, 2008 at 01:42 AM

Since I've been screwed twice now by various lawyers in charge of
engineering video media I am looking for an alternative to get Hi Def Eye
Candy besides replacing my RP HDTV with component only inputs with an HDMI

1.3 capable HDTV and adding on a STB BD player since my HD DVD/XBox360
combo
is largely useless.

My thought is to do something along this line. I stream to RP HDTV all
the
time from various computers in the home. I either use the XBox360 or,
more
often than not, the Avel LinkPlayer 2. What I am thinking of doing is to
put a BD drive in one of my 51/4 inch bays and using AnyDVD to rip it to
the
hard drive. This should cir***vent the DRM nonsense so that I can watch
my
Netflix BD rentals on my home system. I just stream the ts files to the
Avel LP2.

Anyone doing anything similar?
