My Digital Stream DTX9900 CECB has both an OTA and Cable mode in the
Input Selection.  Perhaps it's for MATV or other low rent systems 
that just do frequency translation, and only does 8VSB.  (Maybe not?)

Has anybody dug up a datasheet on the demodulator chipsets?
I'd expect most of them to be multi-mode, if they're for general
use in TVs.
