I'm not BLAMING china and other contires.  I stating the US has
competition 
in the Demand of oil.  The demand of other contries is causing higher 
prices.  We Im****t like 80% of the oil we use and so we have almost ZERO 
control on oil prices.  These foren oil producing contries basically have 
the US by the balls and we let them do it.  The US has vast amounts of oil

but we don't drill for it.

China has lots of every poor people!  Poor people that live in small
vilages 
that they live their own lives in.  That's been changing for a few years

Another Idiot that doesn't know what he's talking about.   Nuclear is the 
ONLY clean source of power their is!   Them U.S. coal-fired power plants 
release 2,000 tons of Uranium & Thorium each year!!!  Yum, Yum!!!   You do

know that the Fuel Rods can be ReProcessed!!!  We already have a Storage 
site and it's not even being used.  How come smaller Contries like France,

Japan and others are mainly running on Nuclear and have no storage 
problem???   Far, Far smaller contries then the US!!!

There hasn't been a single Oil Revinery built in the US for like 20-30 
years!!!  They want to build them, but it's vertually Imposible.  No one 
wants one where they live.  The Rules are Regulations, and being Sued buy 
ever so called Everomental group just makes it to much trouble.  Hell the 
Alasken Pipe line almost dind't get built, it was delayed from this type
of 
crap, and it's even worse now by far.  You can't build your Refinerys, or 
Oil Driling platforms otherwise your just giving your money away to these 
other groups, so you hold onto it, give it to the CEO's and everyone else 
high up in the conpany.  Better themselves then the gready loyers.

Any little thing and the prices jump up and never go quite down to what
they 
were, and this time it's even worse.  It's not going to get better any
time 
soon and we'll never see gas for under $3 ever again.  I don't think we'll

see gas for under $4 ever again next year.  In fact that may end up being 
this year.   I don't expect the OIL COMPAINYS to bother with alternative 
Energy, they are the oil company after all.  We need another Manhatten 
Project!!!  Instead of the A-BOMB, a pratical Alterative Enagery Source to

replace Oil.  That means mainly the Goverment Investing, and other 3rd
party 
companys other then the Oil Company's.  They have their Oil, forget them.

Yes, I buy Americal as much as Pratical.  I have never owned a Im****t 
Vechanle other then my Jetski, and that's only because no US Manufature 
makes Jetski's.  I've had a old 66 Chrysler, a 77 Chevy truck, currently a

03 Chevy truck and a 99 Harly.   I moved closer to work years ago and only

live 2 miles away.  My 5 year old truck only has 30,000 or so miles on it.

People are falling for some of this Im****t good Gas Milage Hype that's 
really not true!   Toyata trucks these days got V8's in them.  Gas Milage
is 
pretty close from Im****t to Domesitc.  Unless your buying a MINI, or 
something like that close, even the Prius isn't all that's cracked up to
be. 
You can buy cars without all that expensive Hybead garbage for cheaper
that 
gets just as good of milage.

That's all very true.  Kind of late to do anything about that now other
then 
to stop it where it's at and build higher Density housing, though that

have it's own set of problems.

We need more oil NOW to keep prices down reasonable, but again, forget
about 
the Oil companies and their profits, you can't do anything about that.  No

matter what you do, it'll just make the problems worse.    We need to find

the solution the problem our selves.    My guess would be Fission Power, 
(The power of the Sun!)   It would be clean, cheap, and being able to 
produce cheap Hydrogen for Cars to run on, or even electric cars.    Solar
& 
Wind Power is only going to so so much.  We could cover ever square inch
of 
the US in Solar and it still wouldn't be enough, and what happens when
it's 
night time?  Just like there's only so many area's that generate enough
wind 
power.   Have to be realistic to the problem.
