That's only if you're on an HDTV making the comparison.
A teacher told me, "Once you've tasted steak, it's awfully hard to go
back to eating hamburger." Take air conditioning-- cental air or in-
car. Does anybody go without the A/C option? Or what about people who
will not eat at McDonald's?
The rule applies. My HD's mothballed while we repaint the room, I'm
not missing digital programming because of the DVR, but I caught the
Pistons game at a bar last night, and got the crave again. I like the
picture.
However, subchannels look great on SD, not as much in HD, although I
could have stared at Gigi Stone getting drunk and blu****ng on ABC
News Now forever.
Overall, it's like what Richard Gere said about the opera in PRETTY
WOMAN. The first time you really see it, properly set up, will decide
your reaction. If it's love at first sight, you'll be a lifelong fan.
If you're unimpressed, you may learn to appreciate it, but you'll
never be a fan. But, hey, maybe you're just a hamburger man.
Not trying to tease you if you're not impressed. It's just a metaphor.
