Well, I did get rid of it.  I was using a DVI input and went to the RGB 
thing and now problem is gone with no noticable loss of pix quality. Kind 
of a pain to sometimes have to manually adjust color saturation but it is 
better than watching the stupid dancing white lights!  As far as I can 
tell, my set has no adjustments for this. Next set will for sure!  This 
is my first HDTV and I think I paid too much attention to price...;-]
